xxx History xxx

V: Disillusioned Glenn Ross Campbell went home in 67, joined The Dirty Blues Band and then worked as a dish-washer for a while. He was called back to the UK early in 1969 and teamed up with Ray Owen's band. A few days later they did a tv-show. They managed to cut a single before the band ended when O'List left during a gig.

VI: (Hoard, Campbell, Evans, Potter[, Kabaka]): Guy met 16 year old Nic at the audition for this last line-up, probably in June. They did a summer tour in the Cornwall area of England which went down quite well. Most of their recorded output (6 songs it seems) are pretty ordinary blues except the last one, the stunning semi-improvised Golden Glass. Steve Hoard was pretty fed up at this stage and sang about glass of Scotch. The track has later been hailed as a psychedelic masterpiece.
